The Rockland County Village Community

The RCVC is a membership organization

of people dedicated to older adults choosing to remain

in their homes as long as comfortably possible.

We provide a community of social support and friendship.

We are available to assist others that want to initiate additional

aging in place groups in their community.

Members participate in the following ways:

A. gather and disseminate information on available resources for Elders in Rockland County and in New York State.

B. identify the gaps in needed services to make remaining in one’s home a viable option,

C. create multi-generational volunteer services to fill the gaps and realize the goal. Additionally, we research, and/or develop home-like communities as a desirable living environment and an alternative to remaining in one’s own home.

RCVC meets every Monday, 9:30 AM, on Zoom and when possible at Meals on Wheels, 121 W. Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY.
